Aisha Bolaji is an experienced film curator and programmer with a passion for championing diverse storytelling with seven years curating experience under their belt. For the past three years they have been programming short films for the Dublin International Film Festival. They are the Festival Director and Head Programmer of The GALPAL Collective’s Directed by Her and have served as a Short Film Jury Member for the 2024 Irish Film & Television Academy Awards and Directed by YOUth. Their programming credits include IFI DocFest 2024, PhizzFest, The GALPAL Collective x GORM - AJOYO, and Catalyst International Film Festival, where she was a Programme Assistant. They have also worked as a Curatorial Assistant for CHROMA International Film Festival (2020/2021) and Head of Jury for Her International Film Festival (2019), with early jury experience at Noise Flicks Youth Film Festival (2017). Aisha also provides film festival strategy plans on a freelance basis for short films.
