As a screenwriter, my passion lies in the silly and surreal. Coming of age in the most fantastical of ways, exploring Black joy and moving into the space of afrofuturism, the only thing down to earth about my scripts are the characters within them.

The GALPAL Collective Writers Club - Project Manager
The GALPAL Collective, National Talent Academies, Motherland
The Writers Club consists of four writers groups. Each group has in-person and online meetings to share work with their peers and facilitators weekly. This is led by The GALPAL Collective and include informative sessions regarding the writing process, peer to peer feedback, writing exercises, industry guest-led workshops, provided resources and more. The Writers Club will be a space for the writers to develop their skills and short film projects while receiving feedback from an organically diverse range of people and peers. The club aims to create a cultivation of original storytelling that often doesn't get space to flourish in many development spaces.

Working in hybrid production company and post-house Motherland as a film development coordinator, guiding projects from concept to pre-production, providing script feedback and researching industry trends. While also developing festival strategies and preparing funding applications as well as pitch decks to secure support, acting as a bridge between creative teams and executives.

Writers Room is a paid training and development opportunity. It is for screenwriters living in Ireland who identify their voices as marginalised, and who feel that they are representative of voices less platformed in film and television. Writers Room was open to new and developing screenwriters.
